We are finally open
Dear Patients,
First and foremost, our hearts and prayers continue to be with those impacted by this pandemic. After careful consideration to guidance provided by both the governor and American Dental Association (ADA), we are prepared to open our office again after an 8-week hiatus. We have invested in equipment/materials (see video below) both recommended by the ADA and on our own accord to ensure both our patients and staff members remain safe. The following describes the measures we have taken:
Before appointments:
-
Staff will call each patient the day before his/her appointment to conduct a basic health screen; this will be repeated on the day of as well
Appointment Day
-
Only one patient will be seen at a time; except in the case where patients are minors, companions will be asked to remain in the building lobby or their respective vehicle.
-
Patients will arrive for their appointment wearing a mask.
-
We will take their temperature, heart rate, and oxygen saturation to ensure vital signs are within normal limits.
-
They will be asked to sanitize their hands (upon arriving/leaving), wear our provided shoe covers, and rinse their mouth with 1% Hydrogen Peroxide for one minute prior to treatment.
-
Both an air purifier and chairside aerosol suction with UV light will be placed in treatment areas to trap small airborne particles including dust, saliva, blood, etc.
-
Staff will wear a mask and gloves at all times.
Effective Monday May 4, our office will be open to all new and existing patients. Please accept our blessings during this sensitive time.
