It had been years since I had visited the dentist, so I wasn't looking forward to my first appointment with Dr. Vessali. That was several years ago, now it is different. In addition to professional expertise, there is a level of compassion, care, and even friendship that is unusual in my experience. Dr. Vessali, Griselda, and Ellen all make me feel welcomed and cared for. When I haven't been taking care of my teeth as I should, I am encouraged to do better but not made to feel stupid or lazy. Excellent professional care is combined with genuine concern and care on a personal level.

I can't say that going to the dentist is at the top of my list of my favorite things to do but because of Dr. Vessali, Griselda and Ellen it has become something more than just a chore, indeed, on a personal level it's something I (almost) look forward to!

Their empathy and "soft touch" are reassurring. Besides being professional and skillful, they are nice and funny- very personable. This is the best dentist staff I've ever worked with and look forward to seeing and working with them for many years to come.

I've come to the practice for several years. One of the things I really apprecaite about Dr. Vessali's practice is that the office is very prompt. I rarely wait and if I do it's quite short. Additionally I like the way Dr. Vessali will explain any recommendations she makes and answers my questions.

My wife and I have found that Dr. Vessali's office is staffed with caring and considerate people who provide the highest level of dental service. My wife is handicapped and Dr. Vessali has ensured that her dental needs are taken care of with gentle and compassionate treatment. While my own dental needs are greater, Dr. Vessali has taken the time to develop a plan of action to replace and update older dental work, and has reviewed with me the course of action that she is undertaking. Dr. Vessali replaced older crowns with new dental crowns and now I am happy to smile and show off her work. They were so natural looking that I don't think anyone knew that I had dental work done!

Her assistant Griselda is always right there to provide the extra gentle hand to ensure that the dental experience is as comfortable as possible. Griselda's bright smile and caring ways make you feel at ease. Additionally, the office administrator Ellen is undoubtedly the best at taking care of insurance billing issues and patiently explains the payment schedules of your insurance company. In conclusion we would recommend Dr. Vessali's dental practice for anyone who is hesitant about treatment and we are sure they will share our experiences with Dr. Vessali and staff in Herndon.
